A: We proudly serve Jacksonville, Duval County, and surrounding areas—excluding Nassau County. For locations just outside Duval County, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your request. Additional travel fees may apply.
Requesting a Quote
Q: How do I request a quote?
A: Virtual (Free): Send photos/descriptions to dzjunkhawlersllc@outlook.com.
On-Site (Free): Request for us to come on-site! (Travel within 40 miles is always free. For locations more than 40 miles from our office, an $85 non-refundable fee may apply.)
Quote Turnaround
Q: How long does it take to get a quote?
A: We aim to provide virtual quotes within 24–48 hours if you send us photos or a detailed description.
Scheduling
Q: How far in advance do I need to schedule?
A: We generally require 24–48 hours’ notice to schedule once you approve the quote. If you need same-day service, please call us directly to check availability.
On-Site Assessments
Q: Do I have to be on-site for the quote?
A: No, you can provide a key or lockbox code, and we’ll do the assessment independently if that works better for you.
Trip Fee Details
Q: What does the $85 trip fee cover?
A: Typically, this fee applies once a quote is approved and acts as a deposit to secure scheduling. It is non-refundable if canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time or if you no-show (if applicable).
Response Time
Q: How soon can I expect a response?
A: We aim to respond within 24–48 hours, please note that DZ Junk Hawlers LLC specializes in evening and weekend appointments. Our service windows are optimized for after-hours and weekend projects.
Preparation for Arrival
Q: How should I prepare for your arrival?
A: Ensure the work area is accessible, safe, and free of unnecessary items. Please provide gate codes, parking instructions, or any special notes before we arrive.
Changes in Project Scope
Q: What if the project scope changes?
A: We’ll discuss any additional tasks and costs before proceeding. A new quote or addendum will be provided, and work will begin only after you approve the changes.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a $100 cancellation fee or forfeiting the $85 trip fee. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for details.
Hazardous Materials
Q: Do you handle hazardous materials?
A: No. We do not handle or transport asbestos, paints, oils, medical waste, or other hazardous materials. We may set them aside for a licensed third-party service or refuse to move them if deemed unsafe.
Satisfaction Guarantee
Q: What if I’m not satisfied with the work?
A: We offer a 5-business-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied, please contact us within five (5) business days of completion, and we will do our best to resolve any issues.
Payment
Q: When and how do I pay?
A: Homeowners: Payment is due upon job completion. We accept checks, major credit cards, and digital methods (Apple Pay/Google Pay).
Property Managers/Realtors: Payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date; a 2% monthly late fee applies after 30 days (up to 90 days). After 90 days, additional collection fees may apply.
Severe Weather/Emergencies
Q: What about severe weather or emergencies?
A: In cases of storms or unforeseeable events, we follow our Force Majeure policy (please see our Terms & Conditions). We’ll do our best to reschedule quickly.
