At DZ Junk Hawlers LLC, we prioritize transparency and fairness in every transaction. Below, you’ll find detailed information about our fees, payment methods, and cancellation policies.

Trip Fee

  • Non-Refundable: A non-refundable $165 travel fee applies. This fee typically covers the first hour of work performed. Any additional hours will be charged at a separate, agreed-upon hourly rate.

  • Credited Toward Jobs: The trip fee is credited toward the final invoice for jobs where additional services are performed. For recurring or follow-up visits, the trip fee may apply again if the visit is unrelated to previous services or requires a separate trip.

Custom Quotes & Project Scope

  • Free Virtual Estimates: Send photos or descriptions for a no-obligation quote.

  • On-Site Assessments: $165 trip fee applies if we must visit in person to evaluate.

  • Scope of Work: All quotes include a breakdown of services, fees, and any potential extras (e.g., material costs, equipment rentals). All services are subject to a 24–48 hour scheduling window once the quote is approved.

  • Internal Minimum: Small jobs, such as light junk removal or single-item pickups, are priced internally with a $200 minimum charge (includes trip fee, labor, and dump fees).

Materials & Equipment

  • Handling Fee: May apply to materials sourced by DZ Junk Hawlers LLC (e.g., mulch, sod, paint) to cover procurement, transportation, and handling.

  • Client-Provided Materials: Clients may provide their own materials with prior approval. DZ Junk Hawlers LLC is not liable for delays or issues arising from client-provided materials.

  • Equipment Rental Coordination: A $100 coordination fee applies for securing and managing specialized equipment rentals (e.g., stump grinders, chainsaws).

  • How It Works: Customers pay for the rental directly. DZ Junk Hawlers LLC handles pickup, delivery, and operation of the equipment.

  • Rental costs are billed separately, and any associated fees (e.g., transportation) will be clearly outlined in the quote.

Deposits & Cancellations

  • Deposits: Large or complex jobs may require a non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • 24-Hour Notice: Required to avoid a $100 fee.

    • Less Than 24 Hours: The $165 trip fee is forfeited if applicable; additional fees may apply for materials or rentals arranged.

    • Florida Three-Day Right to Cancel: If signed at your residence, you have three (3) business days to cancel without penalty.

Payment Terms

  • Homeowners: Payment is due upon job completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Realtors & Property Managers: Payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date.

  • Late Fees

    • 2% Monthly Late Fee: Applies to unpaid balances beyond 30 days, up to 90 days.

    • Collection Costs: Accounts unpaid after 90 days will be subject to collection efforts, which may include additional costs for recovery.

  • Refunds

    • No Routine Refunds: Refunds are generally not issued unless DZ Junk Hawlers LLC cancels the job for reasons outside the client’s control (e.g., severe weather) with no rescheduling available.

    • Trip Fee: The $165 trip fee is always non-refundable except in cases covered by Florida’s Three-Day Right to Cancel

Hourly & Minimum Charges

  • Internal Minimum: $200 for small single-item pickups or light junk removal (includes trip fee and dump fees as applicable).

  • Coordination Fee: $100 when we arrange specialized equipment rentals (e.g., stump grinders).

  • Client-Provided Materials: You may supply materials if approved in advance; we may charge a handling fee for items we procure.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • 5-Business-Day Guarantee: Clients must report any concerns within five (5) business days of service completion.

  • Prompt Resolution: DZ Junk Hawlers LLC will address concerns promptly and make reasonable efforts to resolve them (e.g., revisits, discounts).

  • Concerns After Five Days: Handled at the company’s discretion. Services are considered final unless clear defects in workmanship are identified.

Operational Growth & Changes

  • Operational Adjustments: We reserve the right to modify business hours, pricing structures, or service availability based on business needs. Clients will be notified of changes affecting existing bookings.

  • Advanced Booking Options: Secure services during high-demand periods (e.g., holidays, spring cleanups) by placing a deposit, credited to the final invoice.

Disclaimers

All services are subject to a 24–48 hour scheduling window once the quote is approved by client.

  • Material & Equipment Availability: DZ Junk Hawlers LLC is not liable for delays or price changes caused by shortages or backorders. Clients will be notified promptly and given the option to proceed or cancel.

  • Client-Provided Approvals: You are responsible for obtaining any permits, HOA approvals, or utility markings before service begins. Failure to secure these may result in delays, additional fees, or service cancellation.

  • Scope Changes: Any changes in job scope will be re-estimated and approved before additional work begins.

  • Force Majeure: We’re not liable for delays or cancellations due to uncontrollable events (e.g., natural disasters, severe weather).
