Pricing & Payment Policy – DZ Junk Hawlers LLC

At DZ Junk Hawlers LLC, we prioritize transparency and fairness in every transaction. Below you’ll find detailed information about our fees, payment methods, equipment rental coordination—including our new skid steer rental option—and disposal cost considerations.

Trip Fee

  • A non-refundable $85 trip fee applies after quote approval. This fee acts as a deposit for scheduling and is credited toward your final invoice. (Additional travel fees may apply for locations beyond 40 miles from our office.)

Custom Quotes & Project Scope

  • Free Virtual Estimates: Provide photos or detailed descriptions for an accurate quote.

  • Onsite Assessments: An $85 trip fee applies after quote approval. All services are subject to a 24–48 hour scheduling window once the quote is approved.

Materials & Equipment

  • Handling Fee: May apply to materials sourced by DZ Junk Hawlers LLC (e.g., mulch, sod, paint) to cover procurement, transportation, and handling.

  • Client-Provided Materials: Clients may supply their own materials with prior approval; we are not liable for any delays or issues arising from these materials.

Equipment Rental Coordination

  • A $100 coordination fee applies for securing and managing specialized equipment rentals.

  • This fee covers standard equipment (stump grinders, chainsaws, etc.) as well as our new skid steer rental option—ideal for efficiently handling heavy or dense materials (such as bricks and concrete).

  • In the Jacksonville (32225) area, daily skid steer rental rates typically range from $200 to $400 per day. Any additional rental costs (including transportation or delivery fees) will be clearly outlined in your quote.

  • Customers must provide payment information upfront for rentals arranged by DZ Junk Hawlers LLC; however, clients may opt to arrange rentals independently if they prefer.

Deposits & Cancellations

  • Deposit: An $85 fee applies after quote approval and acts as a deposit for scheduling. If total invoicing is over $800, we may require a 50% deposit.

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to avoid a $100 cancellation fee.

    • If canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the $85 trip fee is forfeited, and additional fees may apply if materials or rentals have been secured.

    • Florida’s Three-Day Right to Cancel applies for agreements signed at your residence.

Payment Terms

The quoted price is an estimate and is subject to change based on the actual scope of work, materials, and services required. In the event of any adjustments to the price, the client will be notified before the final invoice is issued.

  • Homeowners: Payment is due upon job completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Realtors & Property Managers: Payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date.

Late Fees & Collections

  • A 2% monthly late fee applies to unpaid balances after 30 days (up to 90 days).

  • Accounts unpaid beyond 90 days may incur additional collection fees.

Refunds

  • Refunds are generally not issued unless DZ Junk Hawlers LLC cancels the job due to reasons outside the client’s control (e.g., severe weather with no possibility of rescheduling).

  • The $85 trip fee is non-refundable except as provided by Florida’s Three-Day Right to Cancel for home-based agreements.

Disposal Cost Considerations for Specialty Items

  • Mattresses & Tires: Although our customer pricing starts at $50 per item, the actual disposal costs to our business are typically lower—approximately $15 to $30 per mattress and $3 to $8 per tire.

  • Bundled Discounts: We negotiate bulk and contract rates with local disposal facilities, which may allow for bundled discounts or adjustments based on project specifics.

  • Final pricing for disposal of specialty items will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express

  • Direct Deposits: Contact us for bank details.

  • Mobile/Contactless Payments: Apple Pay, Google Pay

  • Checks: Payable to "DZ Junk Hawlers LLC" (additional fees may apply for returned checks).

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • We offer a 5-business-day satisfaction guarantee. Clients must report any concerns within five business days of service completion. We will make every effort to address issues (e.g., revisits, discounts) when feasible.

Operational Growth & Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify business hours, pricing structures, or service availability based on business needs. Clients will be notified of any changes affecting existing bookings.

  • Advanced booking options are available during high-demand periods (e.g., holidays, spring cleanups) with deposits credited toward the final invoice.

Disclaimers

  • All services are subject to a 24–48 hour scheduling window once the quote is approved.

  • Material & Equipment Availability: We are not liable for delays or price changes caused by shortages or backorders. Clients will be notified promptly and given the option to proceed or cancel.

  • Client-Provided Approvals: Clients are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, HOA approvals, or utility markings before service begins. Failure to secure these may result in delays, additional fees, or cancellation of service.

  • Scope Changes: Any changes in job scope will be re-estimated and approved before additional work commences.

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or cancellations due to uncontrollable events (e.g., natural disasters, severe weather).
